Pakistan District Education Rankings 2016

Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Baligh Ur Rehman says concerted efforts are underway to increase the education budget. He was speaking at the launch of fourth annual ‘Distric Education Ranking 2016' by SDPI in partnership with Alif Ailaan in Islamabad. According to the new ranking, Islamabad, Chakwal, and Kotli are the best performing districts whereas Qila Abdullah, Dera Bugti, and FR Lakki Marwat fall under the worst performing districts. The ranking, which covers all 151 districts across the country, assesses the district progress based on education scores, which include enrollment, retention, learning, and gender parity.
